Joan Aracil

Growing up in Andorra, where freeride skiing is a part of the national culture, Joan’s passion for the sport was sparked by a love for adrenaline and the sense of freedom it offers. Guided by the influence of his father, a dedicated sportsman himself, Joan faced an early challenge when an injury temporarily sidelined him from freeride. However, he made an inspiring comeback to reach the FWT Pro circuit.

Joan’s preparation goes beyond the slopes, with off-season training in motocross, trial motorbiking, and sessions with a sports psychologist. Driven by a desire to perform his best, he balances calmness and focus in competition, always aiming for fast, steep runs that reflects his style. Now, the focus is on maintaining a top-ten ranking in the FWT and savouring every moment of the journey.
