Tenra Katsuno

Tenra Katsuno, a freerider from Niseko, made his mark on the global stage after an impressive FWT Qualifier 2023 season, securing his spot on the FWT 2024. In his rookie year, he finished 6th overall. Introduced to freeride through family and friends, he began competing at 16 and gained inspiration from figures like Gen and Akira Sasaki. Katsuno balances fun with serious training, focusing on enjoyment in competitions. In competitions, he trusts his intuition for choosing lines and focuses on enjoyment rather than pressure. Outside skiing, he plays guitar, makes films, and advocates for environmental causes and gender equality, aiming to grow the freeride scene in Asia.
