about
Australian snowboarder Michaela Davis-Meehan made a powerful comeback to the Freeride World Tour in 2025 as a season wildcard, finishing an incredible 2nd overall and claiming victory at the Kicking Horse Pro. Her return marked a remarkable chapter in an already trailblazing career.
Starting snowboarding at just eight years old, Michaela first made her mark in slopestyle, representing Australia on the world stage. After a serious back injury in 2010, she defied the odds and transitioned into freeride, where her fearless approach and creative riding quickly set her apart. In 2020, she made history by winning in Andorra, becoming the first Australian to claim a Freeride World Tour event win.
